Happy March! Rabbit, rabbit! You know what March means? It means that spring is coming. We are one month closer to lilacs and green grass and...well, rain. But that's okay! At least it's not snow.
Now for the good stuff. For some reason EVERYONE is doing a giveaway right now. I'm throwing my hat in the ring in honor of March. Without further ado, my Aesthetically Pleasing GIVEAWAY...
THE LOOT: A plethora of aesthetically pleasing loveliness. Yes, you'll notice that it's all, as Michael Kors would say, matchy-matchy. Isn't it pretty? The answer is yes.
1. Two pretty substantially sized samples of my perfume love of the moment, Dior Addict
2. China Glaze For Audrey
3. Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Going Green
4. Sinful Colors Surf'n Blue
5. Essie Mint Candy Apple
6. Wet n Wild eyeshadow sextet in Pride
Here's your unopened, safety sealed for your protection Pride palette. I have my own one of these, and let me tell you...I love it. The matte shades are uber-pigmented, all the shades are super blendable, and the white in the upper righthand corner is the perfect highlight; I've used almost all of my sparkly white, and I never hit pan on anything.
See? Look at the pretty (swatched from my own palette, of course).
You want these, don't you? I know you dooooo...
You will probably notice that a.) this bottle of Mint Candy Apple needs a good shakin' (this is why you must win it--to show it the love that I just cannot) and b.) that the For Audrey bottle's label is coming off. The bottle had an unfortunate run-in with a remover-soaked cotton ball. If you win the GIVEAWAY and you'd prefer not to adopt this For Audrey because of its jankity label, just let me know.

That's it. Easy enough, isn't it? This GIVEAWAY isn't really about reaching a follower milestone or anything. It's mostly because, since I've started this blog, I feel like I've made a lot of great friends. I have some loyal readers and I love that. I thought I would share the love. This blog started as something just kind of fun to occupy my time, but for me, it has since turned into much more than that. A big thank you to those of you who have been so sweet to me, and you know who you are.
And now for yesterday's nails of the day, just so you have something pretty to look at. Although the pretty on this one is debatable.
So here's China Glaze C-C-Courage, which Ange-Marie so graciously gifted to me. The unfortunate thing is that I love, love, love the color, but the finish is...how to say this...gross. I can accept the fact that it's a frost, a topic I posted about here. I can accept the fact that there is glitter. What I cannot accept is that the combination of frost and glitter yields an extremely gritty texture. I don't like it. I feel like it just looks bad. It's too bad, though, because this color is just divine.
See what I mean? It doesn't just feel bumpy, it looks bumpy. No bueno.
C-C-Courage is of course from China Glaze's re-release of the Wizard of Ooh Ahz Collection, originally released in 2001. Most of the finishes are akin to C-C-Courage and Good Witch?, the only two from the collection I've tried out. Eww. That's too bad. Sigh.
Alright, that's all for today. Please remember to enter my Aesthetically Pleasing GIVEAWAY by March 12th. I will remind you to enter in every post I do up to the 12th. As always, thank you bunches for reading :D
