It came to my attention yesterday that there are five weeks left in the semester. I have done little, if any research, for my two huge final projects, so I've made the executive decision to do my best to get eliminate one of my biggest distractions, which is Short 'n Chic. I don't know if I'll stop posting completely, but I just wanted to let you guys know that I won't be around as much as I have been. When I come back my Coral Fixation series and spring will both be in full swing, so I'm looking forward to that. Anyway, I'll still be around, 'causin' mischief, wearin' shirts with animals on them, and rockin' some awesome polish, which I'm sure I'll be unable to resist sharing with you intermittently. But mostly I'll be doin' this:
Wish me luck. I need it. Watch out, Winslow Homer and Bernini. I'm about to thesis the hell out of you. Rawr.
Thanks for visiting Short 'n Chic. This blog will be updated frequently. Feel free to become a follower and provide comments galore!
What makes this blog different from other nail blogs? Well...technically nothing. I'll show you pictures and give opinions on the polishes just like everyone else. But I'm a pop culture maniac, so you'll likely get a little dose of pop culture--art, television of both today and yesteryear, movies--along with a huge helping of hilariousness. I appreciate all of my readers, so THANK YOU for visiting!

Just a girl trying to find my happy. After living in NYC for a year pursuing a PhD, I had to follow my heart (hello cliche) and move back to Cleveland, Ohio to be near my fiance and family. Now I'm job searching, relishing my time with friends and loved ones, and raising a male Ragdoll kitten, Remy. Aspiring museum professional. Extremely high-strung. I love kitties. I love to travel. I love to do my nails and then show them to you. I, above all, love coffee. I am the perfect storm of caffeine and genetics.
