I'm completely in love with this. I'm so glad I found it. Cinderella is a pale blue with a drop or two of gray added to it that gives it a soft feel. It also has tiny gold and pink shimmer, which is just incredible. I had also heard that it was terribly sheer, but I didn't find it to be too bad. The formula is a bit sheer, but also thick, which makes it a little difficult to work with. I did three coats and was satisfied. And you can definitely tell that Sinful was using Cinderella's beautiful, sparkly blue gown as inspiration.

There's a running joke in my family that the Little Mermaid is named after ME, and that Disney owes my mom a whole lot of royalties! It used to really bother me when I was young-- I got picked on a whole bunch (people would follow me around singing "ahh ahh ahh, ahh ahh ahh!!) but I've learned to love it!

ReplyDeleteI'm not a huge fan of the princess movies, when I saw the Little Mermaid as a child, I ran out of the theater screaming when that octopus lady sang, so I was a bit scarred; all the evil characters are really mean and ugly. My favorite would have to be The Jungle Book or Aristocats. Those were the only ones that didn't scare me. And the music was good. Now I want to go watch one...

Oh, and yes, I am a little odd sometimes. ;)I also met him at Disneyland Paris when I was about ten years old. I actually thought it was a real crab until my dad was like, lol, no, abbey. Its just a man in a crab costume getting all annoyed and sweaty at the kids. HE TRASHED MY DREAMS!!

I really love the classic Disney movies, and Beauty and the Beast is definitely my favorite. I really like the story, and Belle was not a princess, like every other female character in the Disney movies, so as a child, I always found her to be more real. And yes, I was the crazy child that never really liked princesses and never wanted to be one.

b) Favourite Disney movie? Tough one! Beauty and the Beast has a special place in my heart because it was the Disney movie I grew up with. I love the animation style for Sleeping Beauty and must acknowledge Maleficent's awesomeness. Mulan captured my attention for being one of the first Disney movies that has a kick-ass female heroine. But in the end I think I might have to go with Robin Hood, because of the amazing songs ("Not in Nottingham"- love it!).
